Clay
Clay is available for purchase in 25-pound sleeves of white (95400), red (42), or reclaimed. Please purchase your clay at least 24 hours before you plan to pick it up. A Berkshire Art Center staff member will email you with pick-up information.
There are two purchasing options:
If you are a current ceramics class student, please purchase the Ceramics Class Materials.
If you are not a current student, please purchase Open Studio Clay.
Current Students
Students currently enrolled in a ceramics class at Berkshire Art Center pay a special Ceramics Class Materials Fee for every 25-pound sleeve of clay used during the class.
This materials fee includes:
One 25-pound sleeve of clay (white, red, or reclaimed)
Office hours with the instructor* (when applicable for select virtual classes)
Ceramics Studio Orientation*
Open Studio Glazing (and glazing materials)*
Kiln firing your student work (bisque and glaze)
* Use Student Open Studio Pass when signing up for these sessions.
Open Studio Students
Students needing clay for Berkshire Art Center’s Ceramics Open Studio should purchase Open Studio Clay. This purchase includes one 25-pound sleeve of clay (white, red, or reclaimed).
