Private Online Painting with Marilyn Orner

Students will receive materials to download prior to the class as needed. Students are welcome to use oil or acrylic paint (student preference), but should have the following materials. Please note that these materials are suggested, but students are encouraged to use what they have access to in their environment and the materials are flexible based on what is possible/available to each student:

• paint (oil or acrylic, student choice): white, black, a warm and a cool of red, yellow, and blue

• paint brushes

• pencil

• charcoal (or a water soluble pencil pencil or a black pastel)

• solvents and a rag or wipe for their chosen medium

• heavy paper and/or canvases (8x10 or 9x12)

• something to use as a palette

• a few pieces of lightweight, easy-to-fold paper (i.e. copier/printer paper)
