Work Exchange

Don't let the price of tuition stop you from making art!*

Berkshire Art Center provides opportunities for work exchange and volunteering. Learn more and complete the application below!

Volunteer

Berkshire Art Center volunteers can provide a variety of support, from flier distribution, to gardening, to cleaning our studio spaces. We welcome your expertise and willingness to help! All Berkshire Art Center volunteers are treated with fairness and equity and we do our best to find the right fit for each volunteer based on BAC’s present needs.

Work Exchange: Help out, take a class!

Work exchange provides interested students an opportunity to earn class credit by working at Berkshire Art Center. Each hour worked can be applied as credit toward one hour of class time.

Specific work exchange tasks and hours will be assigned at the time of the work exchange agreement, or on an as-needed basis. Berkshire Art Center depends on the efforts of work-exchange folks to provide important and consistent services to the school, from setting up studios to distributing flyers to cleaning and working events.

Work-exchange participants who have a regular schedule can accrue class credits to use at a later time.
