Zoe is a fiber artist, art educator, and farmer. She is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a BFA in Art Education and enjoys teaching students of all ages. She has taught in a variety of settings including an urban farm, forest school, public high school, and community arts center. She strongly believes in the power of art to bring people together and that the arts are a necessary part of thriving communities.
Zoe primarily works in fiber and is the proud owner of a 24” Macomber floor loom which she uses to weave her work. Her practice also includes lots of mending, natural dyeing, mixed media, and sewing. Her work is influenced by traditional craft, the fleeting nature of the human experience, farming, and her adventures to places near and far.
Zoe is currently living and working seasonally as a farmer and aspires to raise her own fiber as a shepherdess one day!
