A workshop focused on the mindset and methods of watercolor sketching. Learn how to pair paints with pencils/pens, capture colors, and create interesting page compositions. The workshop will balance instructor demonstrations and independent student application.

This is a confident-beginner to intermediate level class. Students should be familiar with their paints and supplies and bring what they normally use. Use the provided materials list just to see scope of what to bring. If the weather is nice, class may offer the opportunity to paint outdoor subjects, so dress appropriately and feel free to bring portable materials or stash a folding chair in your car!

(In the event that BAC has to cancel class due to weather or facility emergencies, please note a suitable makeup date will be selected by polling students for a majority vote. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)
