This is an experimental class designed to give students a strong foundation in printmaking. We’ll cover monotype, dry point, and collagraphy all the while exploring various inking techniques. Students will walk away with familiarity in using a French tool press, hand printing, and a general sense of studio etiquette. Ultimately, we’ll create a small portfolio of unique, well-developed prints and discuss how printmaking can supplement our creative practice.

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center. Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.
