Step back in time and embark on a groovy 70s-themed art adventure! Students will explore the vibrant and creative spirit of the decade by getting hands-on with tie-dye and designing pop art-inspired pieces. Drawing inspiration from legendary 70s musicians, we will design bold album covers and create colorful concert posters. In addition to art, students will learn about the musical influences of the 70s and how the sound of this decade shaped art and culture. Students will build their own musical instruments, from tambourines to maracas, and come together to form their own Berkshire Art Center band! This week is a far-out experience packed with creativity, music, and fun.

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center. Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. Berkshire Art Center reserves the right to run this summer session virtually in the event of COVID-19 cases rising or changes in state safety mandates.
