This week we’ll explore the fascinating art of creating tiny worlds and learn about the concepts of size, scale, and detail through mixed-media art-making. Students will experiment with a variety of materials, including clay, wood, fabric, and found objects, to craft their own miniatures. Projects will include designing miniature furniture, sculpting tiny figurines, and building detailed accessories to bring their creations to life. Drawing inspiration from famous miniature artists, we will explore techniques of crafting miniatures and constructing unique dioramas. This week will encourage patience, precision, and a keen eye for detail through the enchanting world of miniatures!

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center. Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. Berkshire Art Center reserves the right to run this summer session virtually in the event of COVID-19 cases rising or changes in state safety mandates.
