Use technology and digital art forms like selfies and memes as inspiration for hands-on artmaking. We'll use our favorite selfies as the starting point for our own expressive, illustrated self portraits, we'll design "phone case" collages, build 3D emojis, and design a gallery of analog ‘memes’, pairing imagery with text to express an idea. Students will explore how internet culture has influenced the art world, and vice versa.

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center. Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.

The health and safety of our students is our top priority. Berkshire Art Center reserves the right to run this summer session virtually in the event of COVID-19 cases rising or changes in state safety mandates.
