"A piece that I presented to Crit Club, a piece I thought of as a fail piece. Those attending didn’t see it as a fail, though. Instead, they offered some really wonderful ideas for taking it further, working it differently, considering other glazes, opening it up more. A day with my hands in clay is always a good day. A day discussing work and sharing ideas with my clay community is always a good day, too. Failing forward…"
