In this class we will create unique objects as we use surfaces like canvas, paper, buttons, metal or wood as substrates for collage transfers and then take it to the next level with the layered addition of paint and/or pastel. Learn and apply techniques of collage as we transfer photographs, images and text to make everything from original art prints to jewelry. This process is easy, quick, inexpensive and once learned, can be done at home without the use of special equipment or toxic materials. A perfect opportunity for those interested in linking the DIY with the fine art, this class will expand your tool box, produce an array of finished pieces, and offer limitless possibilities for creative applications. A basic knowledge of Photoshop is useful, but not necessary.
