The desire to be inspired is the only prerequisite for this class. You don’t ever have to fear a blank page or canvas again. In this class, you’ll learn a variety of techniques for initiating new work, learning not only how to begin the conversation, but also how to continue the dialogue. As well as being a great way into abstraction and a great way to develop your abstract vocabulary, it also provides those interested in representational work a means of generating material. Discussion, analysis of artwork, and use of a limited palette will help you to understand how to use color and design effectively, strengthening all of your artwork. And most importantly, the class provides an opportunity for you to free yourself from your inner critic, learn to trust your intuition, and open yourself to inspiration. Great for the novice as well as the accomplished.
