"No one but a vandal would print a landscape in red, or in cyanotype" - Peter Henry Emerson
We'll move past the signature blue of cyanotypes and alter our prints to shades of aubergine, sepia, and green. A great follow up to Introduction to Cyanotypes, this class is for students who are looking to experiment with color.
All levels are welcome but some experience is helpful and students will have most success if they are able to print consistent images for testing.
A materials fee has been included in tuition and all materials will be provided for this class. Students are encouraged to bring any of the following:
- Large format negatives
- Image transparencies
- Pre printed cyanotypes you wish to alter
- Objects of varying translucency
Each student (age 14+) is required to have a current Proof of Vaccination Form on file with IS183. Please fill out and submit a form prior to the first day of your class.
