Review the basics of glazing and expand on various decorating techniques like marbling, transfers, and resist in this two-day class. Students should bring bisque pieces (fitting within the restrictions outlined below) to experiment with! The first day will be for demonstration and practice. The second class, a week later, will be to analyze and celebrate our results. Students should bring a notebook and 4-8 bisque fired pieces made from cone 6 clay.

Beginning January 2023, proof of vaccination is no longer required for this class. Masks will continue to be optional, but encouraged for this class. Please review updated COVID Safety Plan HERE.
CLASS MATERIALS
A materials/studio fee has been included in this course tuition for glazing and surface decoration materials, firing, equipment, and tools. No clay purchase necessary. Students should bring a notebook and 4-8 bisque fired pieces made from cone 6 clay.
