Practice the basics of color theory. Jill will cover how the color wheel works and what common color terms are. We’ll cover subjects like complimentary colors, triads, color harmony, mixing neutrals, and working in a limited palette. The general color knowledge can be applied to most media but Jill will be demonstrating in watercolor and gouache. She will also be able to advise to some degree on acrylic, and oil as well.

(In the event that BAC has to cancel class due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled make up date will be Sunday, September 22. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)
