This is an experimental camp designed to give students a strong foundation in printmaking. We’ll cover monotype, dry point, and linocut all while exploring various inking techniques. Students will walk away with familiarity in using a French tool press, hand printing, and a general sense of studio etiquette. Ultimately, we’ll create a small portfolio of unique, well-developed prints and discuss how printmaking can supplement our creative practice.
Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center. Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.
The health and safety of our campers is our top priority. Berkshire Art Center reserves the right to run this camp virtually in the event of COVID-19 cases rising or changes in state safety mandates.
