In this camp we will learn about all of the elements that go into creating a puppet show. We will learn how to build and create several different types of puppets including hand puppets, shadow puppets, and very unique flat style puppet. We will then create our own story to turn into our show. Using a three tiered cardboard stage. Students will construct the set, puppets, props, write the script and create the entire show. The students will then perform the show at the end of the week for family and friends!

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center (BAC). Please fill out this form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.

As of January 2023, proof of vaccination is no longer required and masks will be optional, but encouraged for students, staff, and faculty. Please review updated COVID Safety Plan HERE.

The health and safety of our campers is our top priority. Berkshire Art Center reserves the right to run this camp virtually in the event of COVID-19 cases rising or changes in state safety mandates.
