ARTcentric: Create Your Own Adventure
In this session of ARTcentric: Berkshires, student artists will use our favorite storybooks, classic fables, and illustrated tales as inspiration to bring our very own characters and stories to life! Use your imagination as we learn the basics of character development in collage and then build our creations in 3D! Design story settings, explore plot lines with illustrated story boards, and learn bookmaking techniques and pop-up construction. We’ll then enhance our tales with sidekicks and villains using various puppet and mask making techniques. There are endless stories still left untold so now’s your chance to imagine and share one of your very own!
