Comic Cre8tors will guide students to create their own comic books/zines through a step-by-step process. Over the week, students will bring their own stories to life visually through various processes. First, they will learn how to plan their ideas in the following order: character creation, story outline, story boarding, panel design/initial sketch, ink and color, and finally, presentation. The main goal is to give students the tools they need to develop and execute their own artistic style while exploring a different medium for storytelling. This will be an opportunity for them to share their creative vision with their peers, gain new perspectives on their own creative thinking, and develop a sense of confidence in their own artistic skills that can last beyond the summer.

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center. Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.
