Without the Earth where would we be? The Earth is our home and it is often neglected. One way to say thank you to our home planet is through art! Making art about, with, and for nature encourages mindfulness, gratitude, and awareness. This week we will reimagine what can be done with recycled items: empty mason jars will turn into unique terrariums, paper tubes will bloom into colorful flowers, tin cans will become artful wind chimes, and milk cartons will create the perfect, charming bird feeders for the hot summer months. Together we will learn about our environment and how to give back to the Earth through ART.

Each camper is required to have a current Camp Form on file with IS183. Please fill out and submit a form for each child. Closer to the start of camp, you will receive an email with our Camp Handbook and additional COVID-19 Safety information.

The health and safety of our campers is our top priority. IS183 reserves the right to run this camp virtually in the event of COVID-19 cases rising or changes in state safety mandates.
