A versatile approach to the art of watercolor painting, this class will familiarize students with supplies, theory, and techniques. Practicing washes and brushwork, students will learn about water control and working with their paints. We'll slowly expand the skills covered to include more subtle and nuanced techniques each week. By the end of the class students should have a foundation to pursue watercolor techniques in a variety of methods. This class is open to new and continuing students.
(In the event that BAC has to cancel a class session due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this course will be Thursday, October 20. BAC will prorate students for any classes missed due religious observation and high holidays on which classes are scheduled. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)
Each student (age 14+) is required to have a current Proof of Vaccination Form on file with BAC. Please fill out and submit a form prior to the first day of your class.
