Floral design or flower arrangement is the art of using plant materials and flowers to create an eye-catching and balanced composition or display. In this workshop we will explore the elements and principles of design, how to cut and use the flowers and foliage available to you, the mechanics of arranging flowers in vases and/or hand tying bouquets. Learn to trust your own vision while you are creating a floral work of art! We will explore professional design and mechanical techniques to create a summer arrangement either in a vase, jug, or your own unusual container.

This class will take place at the artist's Home Studio in Ashley Falls, MA. Students will receive address and directions upon registration.

Each student (age 14+) is required to have a current Proof of Vaccination Form on file with BAC. Please fill out and submit a form prior to the first day of your class.

Beginning July 5, 2022, masks will be optional, but encouraged for students, staff, and faculty. Please review updated COVID Safety Plan HERE.

CLASS MATERIALS

All materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring a unique container to take home filled with their own unique floral arrangement. If you have your own floral clippers, please feel free to bring them.
