Find your way with clay through the humble pinch pot. Learn to articulate with touch. Make a smooth and refined pinched bowl or a deeply tactile pinched cup. Create a multi chambered sculpture, a bud vase or even a whistle from two joined pinch pots. For inspiration we will look at a myriad of textures and forms found in nature such as the delicate tapered shape of a milkweed pod, the ridges of a cockle shell, or a spiny jimson weed. This class will focus on mastering pinch pot techniques while providing playful exercises that stretch our creative thinking.

(All levels welcome!)

(In the event that BAC has to cancel a class session due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this course will be Tuesday, October 18. BAC will prorate students for any classes missed due religious observation and high holidays on which classes are scheduled. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)

Each student (age 14+) is required to have a current Proof of Vaccination Form on file with BAC. Please fill out and submit a form prior to the first day of your class.
