Spend two hours capturing the influx of tourist, locals, and others as they enjoy the street and treats of the Southern Berkshire’s largest town. We will meet at the entrance to the Housatonic River Walk and hike along the Housatonic River and return to the starting point with a zig-zag approach through the town itself. Potential subjects will include magical views of the Housatonic River, the back end of Great Barrington, store window reflections, compositions include table/street dining, window shopping, street images, abstract images of Great Barrington and people and more people. Open to Smartphones, DSLR (all types) film systems, if you have a long lens, lens adaptors for your Smartphone bring those as well. This simple to moderate walk is expected to be 2 hours in length.

Beginning January 2023, proof of vaccination is no longer required for this class. Masks will continue to be optional, but encouraged for this class. Please review updated COVID Safety Plan HERE.

CLASS MATERIALS/MEETING LOCATION

Students must bring one of the following: fully charged smartphone or tablet, DSLR, Mirrorless, or film camera system. Students will meet the instructor at the main entrance to the Housatonic River Walk, which is located on Main Street/Route 7 in Great Barrington, next to the Pink Cloud Gallery and the former, now empty, Walgreens.
