Learn non-traditional ways of selecting colors and applying paint to create a small painting in an afternoon. Bring a landscape photograph you’d like to paint and you’ll learn how to use it as source material.
(In the event that BAC has to cancel class due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this workshop will be Sunday, December 8. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)
Updated Mask Policy
As of June 4, 2024, please note masks are no longer required for this specific class. The instructor will still be wearing a mask during class and students are also welcome to wear a mask if they prefer.
CLASS MATERIALS
A materials fee has been included in the cost of tuition and all materials will be provided for this workshop.
ACCESSIBILITY
NOTE: This class will be held in Berkshire Art Center’s 2D Studio at Citizens’ Hall, Stockbridge. Our 2D Studio is located on the main level of the building, which is accessible via a ramp from the parking lot. In addition, restrooms are located on the basement level of our building so stair use is also required.
For all classes held at Citizens’ Hall in Stockbridge, please note our historic building has narrow doorways and is not equipped with an elevator. Our bathrooms, ceramics studio, and 3D studio are accessible via stairs only. We welcome and make every effort to accommodate learners of all styles and abilities.
