Beneath technique, beneath comparison, is the artist inside you who has a language all their own. Discover the unique colors, shapes, lines, elements that best represent your singular essence, as well as the message you'd like to convey as an artist who is true to their perception. Students will explore somatic practices that center the body as a resource for creative visions.

(In the event that BAC has to cancel class due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this workshop will be Saturday, April 13. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)

CLASS MATERIALS

A materials fee has been included in the cost of tuition and all materials will be provided to you.

ACCESSIBILITY

NOTE: This class will be held in Berkshire Art Center’s 2D Studio at Citizens’ Hall, Stockbridge. Our 2D Studio is located on the main level of the building, which is accessible via a ramp from the parking lot. In addition, restrooms are located on the basement level of our building so stair use is also required.

Our bathrooms, ceramics studio, and 3D studio are accessible via stairs only. We welcome and make every effort to accommodate learners of all styles and abilities.
