Magical and simple cyanotypes are a camera less technique that results in graphic blue and white prints. Participants will be introduced to an alternative photographic process developed in 1842 and will use plants to create a photographic image, called a photogram. Each student will have the opportunity to make four 6 x 9-inch prints to take home.
(In the event that BAC has to cancel a class session due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this workshop will be Sunday, August 4. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)
CLASS MATERIALS
All materials, including pressed plant material, will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring objects or pressed plants with interesting silhouettes from home to use in their compositions.
