Sharpen your drawing skills! Working from a live model, learn what to look for and how to gauge visual relationships to effectively draw the human form. Useful tools for seeing enhance the work of experienced artists and enable novices to begin translating the three-dimensional world into two dimensions.

Updated Mask Policy

As of June 4, 2024, please note masks are no longer required for this specific class. The instructor will still be wearing a mask during class and students are also welcome to wear a mask if they prefer.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Berkshire Art Center’s figure drawing courses and sessions feature nude models. Classes are open to adults ages 18+ unless a student has a signed consent form from a parent or guardian allowing them to participate in the session. Please email info@berkshireartcenter.org to request the form.

ACCESSIBILITY

NOTE: This class will be held in Berkshire Art Center’s 2D Studio at Citizens’ Hall, Stockbridge. Our 2D Studio is located on the main level of the building, which is accessible via a ramp from the parking lot. In addition, restrooms are located on the basement level of our building so stair use is also required.

For all classes held at Citizens’ Hall in Stockbridge, please note our historic building has narrow doorways and is not equipped with an elevator. Our bathrooms, ceramics studio, and 3D studio are accessible via stairs only. We welcome and make every effort to accommodate learners of all styles and abilities.
