In this session of after-school art at the Brothership Building, we will explore the incredible public art pieces and street art of the Berkshires and beyond. When asked where you can go to see art, many people automatically think of a museum or gallery, but the truth is that ART is EVERYWHERE! Across the Berkshires, art can be seen in our everyday lives from painted electrical boxes, to large scale murals on the sides of buildings, to sculptures and statues in public spaces, and so much more. Dive into the world of local artists like Stephanie VanBramer and Michael McKay and create your own "Superhero Doors" and "Graffitti Quotes" on this adventure into street art!

This program is FREE and open to middle and high school students from Pittsfield Public Schools (Herberg, Reid, Taconic and PHS).

BUSING

NEW! Busing will be available for middle school students who attend Herberg and Reid. Upon registration, please make sure to indicate at checkout in the “NOTES / ADDITIONAL INFO” section if your student will be taking the bus and which school they attend.

HEALTH FORMS

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center (BAC). Please fill out a form for each child that will be attending a BAC program and ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form. Health forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins.

COVID-19 vaccines are not required for students attending this program. As of July 5, 2022, masks will be optional, but encouraged for students, staff, and faculty. Please review updated COVID Safety Plan HERE.
