Explore the art of monoprint, where each print is truly one-of-a-kind, blending the spontaneity of painting, the precision of drawing, and the artistry of printmaking. In this hands-on class, you'll explore layering techniques, experiment with textures, and incorporate unconventional materials to explore and express your creative ideas. With your monoprints as a foundation, you’ll integrate magazine and book images, assorted papers, and found materials to craft vibrant mixed-media collages. Emphasizing creative freedom and personal expression, this course encourages you to push artistic boundaries, resulting in layered compositions that reflect your unique style. Ideal for both beginners and experienced artists, this class offers a fresh perspective on the versatile realms of monoprinting, mixed media, and collage.

(In the event that BAC has to cancel a class session due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled make up date for this course will be Wednesday, February 19. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)
