Learn basic welding and metal working techniques including MIG, Stick, Oxy-Acetylene and Flux Core welding. We will learn to use shop tools such as grinders, cutters, the drill press and band saw as well as heating and bending steel. We will learn to use equipment safely and to work safely around others!

A materials fee has been included with tuition and all materials will be provided upon arrival. To be as safe as possible masks, welding goggles and gloves will be disinfected at the end of the day and each student will use the same equipment throughout the class. Please wear work jeans, leather shoes and a long sleeve shirt for class. Bring any scrap metal you feel you might want to turn into a sculpture, otherwise all materials will be provided.
