This will be a friendly and welcoming studio setting open to participants pursuing their own projects; and for those who come in search of prompts to begin new drawing projects that may be realized in one or more meetings. An instructor will be available to answer questions and offer guidance. Group discussions lead by the instructor will be encouraged but not mandatory.

(In the event that BAC has to cancel a class due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this course will be Wednesday, July 17. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)

CLASS MATERIALS

A materials fee has been included in the cost of tuition and all materials for this class will be provided.

Participants are encouraged to bring any tools and materials for their ongoing projects; the following with be available for use in this class:

• Vine charcoal
• Drawing boards
• Erasers
• Nitrile gloves
• Lyra Graphite crayons
• India ink & brushes
• Ruler/straight edge
• Blue painter's tape
• Xacto Knives
• Drawing paper (minimum size of 22x30”)

ACCESSIBILITY

NOTE: This class will be held in Berkshire Art Center’s 3D Studio at Citizens’ Hall, Stockbridge. Our 3D Studio is located on the second floor of the building so stair use is required. In addition, restrooms are located on the basement level of our building so stair use is also required.

For all classes held at Citizens’ Hall in Stockbridge, please note our historic building has narrow doorways and is not equipped with an elevator. Our bathrooms, ceramics studio, and 3D studio are accessible via stairs only. We welcome and make every effort to accommodate learners of all styles and abilities.
