Tapestry is a unique art form that is easy to learn the basics and it’s an art form that one can spend the rest of their life growing with. Tapestry allows for a variety of expression and the ability to mix other medium with fiber. Your work could be very large, or extremely small, or any size in between. It could be full of bumpy texture or be perfectly flat. The only limitation is understanding the medium you are working within.

(In the event that BAC has to cancel a class session due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this course will be Saturday, March 23. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center (BAC). Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.

CLASS MATERIALS

A materials fee has been included in the cost of tuition and all materials will be provided for this course. Students are asked to please bring small items from nature to weave into their tapestries (sticks, pine cones, shells, feathers, etc.)
