Tapestry is a unique art form which is easy to learn and allows for a variety of expression. Your work could be very large, or extremely small, or any size in between. It could be bright and loudly colored, or soft and subtle. It could be full of bumpy texture using all types of materials, or be perfectly flat. Tapestry is a medium that resists perfectly square corners and perfectly rounded shapes. There is a joy when you learn to accept the medium and learn to adapt to what it offers. This is an art form that one can spend the rest of one's life growing with.
