In this program we will learn about all of the elements that go into creating a puppet show. We will learn how to build and create several different types of puppets including hand puppets, shadow puppets, and very unique flat style puppets. We will then create our own story to turn into our show, using a three tiered cardboard stage. Students will construct the set, puppets, props, write the script, and create the entire show. The students will then perform the show at the end of the week.

Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center. Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.

The health and safety of our campers is our top priority. Berkshire Art Center reserves the right to run this camp virtually in the event of COVID-19 cases rising or changes in state safety mandates.
