ARTcentric: Artists at Work!

Artists are working right in your community—and now it’s your turn to get making! In this session of the "ARTcentric: Berkshires" program, students will learn about local artists and companies that use their artwork to create products they can sell. They’ll get to explore the entire process, from brainstorming ideas and sketching designs to editing, packaging, and branding. They’ll have fun making multiple products, while also learning how to communicate their ideas clearly and creatively. By the end, they’ll have a collection of cool products to share with others and a better understanding of how art can be used to create and tell a story.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Becket and Washington Cultural Councils, local agencies which are supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
