Bring your DSLR, Smartphone/Tablet, or film camera system and get ready to experience some of the most photogenic locations in Berkshire County. Bartholomew’s Cobble, located in Ashley Falls, is a Beginner Level Hike. This 2.75-mile hike along the Housatonic features mild changes in elevation and is perfect for basic photographic hiking at its best.

Beginning January 2023, proof of vaccination is no longer required for this class. Masks will continue to be optional, but encouraged for this class. Please review updated COVID Safety Plan HERE.
CLASS MATERIALS
Students should meet the instructor in front of the Visitor's Center. Attendees need to be able hike approximately 3 miles, drive to selected location, own a tripod, and of course have a basic understanding of their digital or film camera system. Students will be responsible for paying site fees and/or parking fees associated with this hike upon arrival. Admission to Bartholomew's Cobble is $5 per person (for non-Trustees members) and $0 (for members of The Trustees). More info about Bartholomew's Cobble can be found HERE.
