Join us for an exploration of the fiber arts through tapestry weaving, focusing on design and structure, using varied yarns, cloth and other materials. In this class, students will learn technique and design skills via circular weaving on an embroidery hoop, by creating a textural tapestry wall hanging, and a decorative paperweight weaving on a stone.
(In the event that BAC has to cancel a class session due to weather or facility emergencies, please note the pre-scheduled makeup date for this course will be Tuesday, May 28. More information on our policies for cancellations can be found HERE.)
Each student is required to have a current Health and Emergency Contact Form on file with Berkshire Art Center (BAC). Please fill out a Health Form for each child that will be attending a BAC program. Health Forms are due as soon as possible at the time of registration and no later than one week before a program begins. Please ensure you have your child’s insurance information ready when filling out the form.
